My Story
Your story matters. This is mine.
I've always said that nursing is a bedside seat to the full range of human experience. From the best of days to the most devastating, nurses witness life at its most vulnerable and its most resilient. That perspective — earned across years of clinical practice — is what I bring to every case I take on.
I became a nurse because of a deep love for science and an even deeper belief in its power to transform lives. But it was growing up around the law that shaped the other half of who I am professionally. My mother worked as a paralegal in a personal injury firm, and the conversations at our dinner table were never far from the human cost of preventable accidents — the families upended, the futures altered, the justice too often delayed.
In 2006, when the opportunity arose to become a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, it felt less like a career pivot and more like an arrival. Here was a role that united everything: clinical knowledge, research instinct, a passion for detective work, and a genuine commitment to helping people find the closure they deserve.
Today, Legal Nurse Insights is built on that foundation, and on the belief that the most powerful evidence in a medical-legal case is already there, waiting to be uncovered.
